We left for Lake Powell Friday June 26th for 10 days of fun! We got into Lake Powell around 7 p.m. Friday night. After unpacking and setting up camp it was relaxing time. The next day we hung out at the beach, finished setting up camp and cruised around in the boats and did some wakeboarding. The following day we went out for an all day trip. We found some coves to sit in under the shade. For some reason beer taste sooo good in the 100 degree weather and went down like water. Me and Garrett had a great day. We left around 10 and got back to camp around 5, ate delicious dinner and had a relaxing night of playing cards and my dads game he invented called "Duster Balls". Every other day we had a beach day, the others we were all off on adventures, we went hiking to a cave, went up a few amazing canyons, always had the most amazing dutch oven dinners, boated for hours on end and got very tan! =) One of the funniest moments while we were there had to be Garrett's "surprise", he bought a floral print speedo that no one knew he was bringing. So one day when we were out wakeboarding he had it on under his shorts. When he was in the water putting his board on he slipped off his swimsuit and shoved it down his life jacket so no one would notice his speedo. When he came up and out of the water with that speedo on everyones faces were priceless and they could not stop laughing. Garrett ended up loosing his swimsuit out of his life jacket and had to walk around camp with nothing but a speedo on. Great entertainment. Lake Powell was a success and after 10 days of heat we were all ready to come home. I posted a few pictures for you to look at!
